About Houzez Mobile
Houzez Mobile is the official iPhone and Android app for real estate websites built on the Houzez WordPress theme. It's built and maintained by Equal Pixels, the official mobile partner of the Houzez theme's author, and sold as a done-for-you service: we rebrand the app for your business, connect it to your website and publish it under your own App Store and Google Play accounts.
Who builds it
Equal Pixels builds and maintains the app, and runs this site. It's the company named in our Terms and Privacy Policy. The demo app on the App Store and Google Play is the same app we rebrand for each client.
Why it's the official Houzez app
We build the mobile app as the official mobile partner of the Houzez theme's author, so it's made for Houzez and nothing else. It reads your listings, agents, cities and enquiries live from your Houzez website through the Houzez REST API, using two plugins we provide. There's no copy of your data to keep in sync: publish a listing in WordPress and it's in the app.
What our team does
- Rebrands the app with your name, icon, colours, splash screen and store listing. Your clients never see our name.
- Connects it to your website with the two plugins, and checks the connection works.
- Builds and signs the iPhone and Android apps with your credentials, and sends you a private test build first.
- Takes it through review on the App Store and Google Play, including any changes a reviewer asks for.
- Hands it over. The final release is your click, never ours. The first year of updates is included, and we tell you when the yearly technical update the stores require is due.
Every step is written down in the public setup guide, so you can see the whole job before you order. Most apps are live in two to four weeks.
What stays yours
Your app is published under your own developer accounts, in your company's name. If you ever stop working with us, the app, its reviews and its users stay with you. You invite us in, and you can remove us at any time.
What it costs
$1,499 for the iPhone and Android apps, or $999 for one platform, paid once with the first year of updates included. Apple charges $99 a year for a developer account and Google $25 once; you pay them directly. See pricing
