Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your Houzez Mobile account and its associated data at any time. You do not need the app installed to make this request.

Option 1 - Delete from inside the app

This is immediate and requires no waiting.

  1. Open the app and sign in.

  2. Go to Profile in the bottom tab bar.

  3. Tap Personal Info.

  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.

Option 2 - Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in, or you no longer have the app, email contact@equalpixels.io from the address registered on your account, with the subject line "Delete my account".

Include the email address or phone number on the account so we can locate it. We may ask one question to confirm you own the account before we act.

We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming your identity.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

  • Your account record and sign-in credentials

  • Your name, email address, phone number and profile photo

  • Your property listings, including their photos and details

  • Your saved and favourited properties, and your saved searches

  • Your search preferences and in-app activity

  • The push notification token registered to your device

  • All app data cached on your device

Deleted data is not recoverable, and property listings you published are removed from the site along with the account.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Enquiries and messages you sent to agents. These become part of the agent's own records and are no longer linked to your account. Contact the agent directly to have them removed.

  • Records we are required to keep by law, such as records relating to a completed transaction. Retained only for as long as the applicable law requires.

  • Server and security logs, which may contain your IP address. Automatically deleted within 90 days.

  • Encrypted backups, from which your data is purged on the normal backup rotation, within 90 days.

Nothing retained above is used to re-identify you or to contact you for marketing.
